Went to the Cardiologist today and he noticed my calcium levels have remained high, ragng from 10.1-10.6
He said high am mounts of vitamin D can cause thus but I never and I mean never go outside and I never consume anything with vitamin d in it. I'm not sure if I'm deficient in vitamin d, but since I generally take none in, could it mean that I am?
He also said I may have hypercalcemia which would explain my extreme thirst and frequent urination. He said if I am vitamin d deficient and have high calcium it could be a parathyroid problem and that I should see my endocrinologist. I was told to drink lots of fluid so my calcium levels don't raise.
I was told to not take vitamin d till I knew my levels. Has anybody else experienced this?
