Hello everyone .My dr has yet to call me back two of my labs came back my tsh level which is 1.773 and homocysteine which is 14.7. My symptoms are pain in the back of head , sharp pains that come and go and scalp burning on the top of my head where my hair is . I was wondering if anyone knows if this is common with s thyroid problem if I have one . My mother had a hyperactive thyroid.

Hi you probably will get more help if you post the ranges. Thyroid issues can cause so many symptoms! ..its a disgrace
But I get the sharp pains, muscle aches and weakness also.

Your TSH is normal. To properly rule out thyroid problems you would need the full thyroid panel - free T4, T3 and antibody tests.
I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with the role of homocysteine in thyroid health.
