Eliminate sugar from your diet, that includes juices, sodas, cakes,
cookies, milk, etc. and reduce your intake of starches....of course that's only if you're sure it's yeast.

Taking primadophilus reuteri probiotic made by natures way aids with vaginal health, I use to be a frequent sufferer of yeast infections, havn't had one since being on this probiotic, it also aids with lactose intolerance and high cholesterol...you can use plain yogurt in your vagina to treat yeast infections...I swear by it, my GP told me about
it and it works like a charm....just glad I don't have to do that anymore thanks to the probiotics.

Hi, could it possibly be psoriasis that you see on your skin and not yeast? I sometimes get reacurring yeast infections and just figured it was cause of my screwed up immune system, but they went away. What does your doctor say about
it? Have you seen a dermatologist?

Thanks, pb4. I am taking primidophilus reuteri daily, and when I started it did decrease the symptoms but they never went away. As soon as I got off the azathioprine, the yeast went away like magic, and no more problems.

I also get reaccuring yeast infections...I have never made connection if it was related to UC and my meds. I take Yeast Cleanse by Solaray, I've taken this for about
2 years whenever I feel one coming on. My symptoms disappear within the day when I take it & I haven't had to be on Diflucan (prescribed from the doc) since I started taking this.

Some researchers believe IBD may have a fungal etiology. Check out this article.
