My gastro doc suggested I take Culterelle. I am symptom free and was wondering if there would be a chance of any adverse effects if I start now?
Thanks!

No, there shouldn't be, it's simply good bacteria to help maintain healthy gut flora.

If anything, it should improve how you feel.... At first though, you might get a SLIGHT case of the "grumblies", but that should only last for a day or two. It's simply your bowels adjusting to all the new GOOD bacteria you are introducing to it. It has done WONDERS for me and even allows me to eat a more varied diet.. even a little bit of milk on my cereal now! I even think it helped me fight off the stomach flu, my husband had it BAD last week, I had it also, but I wasn't bent over the toilet like he was for a day...
