Absolutely. Sometimes a little gas, maybe a dash of blood or mucous. Pretty annoying.

I usually experiance this when I've got proctitis issues going on, you should either ask your doc to scope you to confirm if it's inflammation and ask for a script of cortifoam (rectal meds).

BTW, this can also be an issue for IBS sufferers as well so keep that in mind.

It's a response to severe inflammation in the rectum, so it should go away when you're in remission. I had it the worst when I was flaring. I'd sometimes go all day feeling like I had to go.

Yes, it's a flare thing. I don't have that while in remission but when I'm in a bad flare - I get that all the time.

Oh, yes...I remember it well. A very inflamed rectum is what causes it.....why are you not on any rectal meds, because they will help you.
