Absolutely. Sometimes a little gas, maybe a dash of blood or mucous. Pretty annoying.

I usually experiance this when I've got proctitis issues going on, you should either ask your doc to scope you to confirm if it's inflammation and ask for a script
of cortifoam (rectal meds).
BTW, this can also be an issue for IBS sufferers as well so keep that in mind.

do you think it tends to only happen when flaring or having troubles? or does it happen also in remission?

Personally I've only had it when flaring.

It's a response to severe inflammation in the rectum, so it should go away when you're in remission. I had it the worst when I was flaring. I'd sometimes go all day feeling like I had to go.

Yes, it's a flare thing. I don't have that while in remission but when I'm in a bad flare - I get that all the time.

Oh, yes...I remember it well. A very inflamed rectum is what causes it.....why are you not on any rectal meds, because they will help you.
