The strangest thing has happened to me. I stopped at the pharmacy last Wednesday to pick up my Asacol. Now it's missing. Totally lost. The little white sack that it came in never made it into my house. I think I must have scooped it up with some papers that were in my car and tossed it. Unfortunately, trash day was the next morning. I may need to start drugs for dementia next.
Of course my insurance will not let me refill it until next month. I'm embarassed to ask my Dr. for samples but I may have to beg, borrow, and steal some.
Now my lower abdomin is aching and I fear a flare is right around the corner. I've been without my beloved Asacol for 3 days.
To make matters worse, our family is shocked over the tragic deaths of some dear friends in a car accident. The family of 6 was traveling to Colorado for a ski vacation when they colided head-on with a semi. The dad, and his oldest daughter, age 18, and son, age 13, were killed instantly. The mom and twin daughters, age 15, survived but are seriously hurt. How does a family recover from this?
Thanks for letting me whine.
