My insurance is an HSA, and they allow me $250/month in cash for prescriptions. I have a $2k out of pocket deductible, and after that is met, prescriptions are covered 100%. So, I'd be out roughly $750/month for my stuff for 3 months, then the insurance kicks in 100%. At least that's the way I'm reading it.
How does it make a difference in the price at the pharmacy by having a public hospital doctor prescribe it?
