Before the scope I was pretty irregular, which I think was probably due to massive inflammation- just passing mostly blood, mucous, etc. with very little actual stool. Now, a year or so later, I'm still irregular! Which I think is more due to the fact that my colon just doesn't work right, it seems to act as more of a holding tank than a regularly functioning organ. I'll go anywhere from 6-10x one day, then maybe go 1-2x the next day...then things even out a bit, I go my "usual" 4-6x daily for a week or so, then Bam! One day, after eating a lot or something, I go a dozen times again. Then the next day, it's maybe 1-2x. It's annoying....my GI suggested I try probiotics, which I do take. But they don't seem to regulate me much. Anyway, I doubt this irregularity is due to a colonoscopy- not after all this time. I didn't use movi-prep, I used Half-Lytely. I didn't have any polyps removed either, I have hundreds of pseudopolyps, from scarring & past inflamamtion though. Hope things get back to normal for you soon!
