I just got some a couple weeks ago but haven't started taking them yet. I'm still taking the primadophilus reuteri twice/day, but I'd like to try these out, too. You're supposed to take 4 pills/day (2 in morning, 2 at night) but it looks like there's lots of good bacteria strains and other things in them. Here's a list of what's in them:

Sara, the only one of those bacteria strains I've had experience with is the L. rhamnosus, which is included in Primadophilus Reuteri. So I really can't help much. I will tell you, though, that when I tood another probiotic with mega-doses of organisms, it didn't agree with me. It gave me bloating, gas and a lot of discomfort. I'd say if you do try this, maybe start out at half-dose and increase it after a couple of weeks.
Let us know how it works for you, we'll all be interested in hearing your results!

Thanks, Judy! I'm a little scared to start a new one because when I started Culturelle I began bleeding again the two or three seperate times I tried it (not sure if it was related or not, but makes me wonder).

I am a little confused what you were doing versus what your doing now...are you taking the UC drugs? I get you are doing the probiotics too...but just didn't understand. I am a probiotic person which is why I am responding...I know with my flareup I am not as 'easy' with my probiotics as I was before...basically when I have having a hard time on the toilet I take one or two...and it helps in general with the passage...
I would love to learn more about
your process.maybe would help me too.

Hi marguerite. Yes, I am still on the Asacol, Rowasa and Canasa, plus everything else listed in my signature. I currently take primadophilus reuteri probiotics. I'm looking to add the Daily-Dophilus probiotics as well to see if they would improve my symptoms. I basically try to find probiotics that have a variety of bacteria strains and billions of bacteria in each pill. I don't know a whole lot about
probiotics, but am reading up more and more about
them. What type of probiotics have you had success with?

I haven't tried them, but looks like a good mix of species. Most all of those are good in one form or another for variety of conditions from what I remember. Though the strain is not given (which seems to be common by manufacturers), they still might be worth a shot.
