Asacol Money Saving Offer

I received a flyer in the mail yesterday from the makers of Asacol and it states the following:

"Asacol is celebrating over 15 years of helping patients manage their ulcerative colitis.  To mark this anniversary, we've created the Pharmacy15 program.  You can save up to $15/month off the out-of-pocket costs of your Asacol prescription.  Just go to www.Asacol.com/benefit15 or call 1-800-663-6698 and speak with a program representative to order your free card today..........limit one use each 30 day period"  Then it goes on to describe what Asacol is. It looks like they send you a card that you probably present to the pharmacist when ordering your Rx. Seems simple enough for free!

I thought this might help some of the patients that are taking Asacol. I passed it on to one of my friends that takes 12 Asacol a day and her monthly co-pay is going up to $40.00 on March 1.

Regarding this post, I received my prescription discount card yesterday in the mail from Asacol.  I had to call and activate it.  But, I used in this morning to refill my Asacol prescription.  I have prescription insurance from my work and my copay is $20 for the Asacol every month.  I used the card and paid only $5.  They told me that I can use the card for every Asacol refill until July of 2008.  I'm saving myself $60 total.  Not a bad deal.  Now, if I can add that $60 to my tax rebate of $600 this year I just may end up wealthy and not even know it.
