wow - we sure know how to laugh at our guts. These slogans are very funny.
It's a great outlet to express our sarcastic humor ...
Maybe HW should add these T-shirts to their shop...

I wouldn't make it funny because people need to understand how serious and painful this disease is. Just making a joke out of it won't help us get respect.

Jsanders, you miss the point of this thread. Beth is creating a t-shirt for a CCFA fundraising walk. People there already know how serious this disease is because either they suffer from it themselves or know someone who does. That's the whole point for them being there. The theme for these walks are light natured and meant to be fun. It's not making fun of our disease but trying to lighten things up even for the short time we are there.

Cafe press had crohns shirts too but they could work for UC w/ a word switch. One is a picture of intestines with a face and it says "don't aggrivate my intestines" Another says "crohns disease, a good excuse not to eat your veggies."

This might be too late for your walk as I'm new here. Good on you for doing it! I'm in England where nobody seems to have heard of UC, had to suggest to my boss that he Googled it!

How about "nunquam fides a ulterius"

Sounds very posh but translates as "never trust a fart" !!!

I just thought of another one for a bumper sticker. Instead of I break for garage sales or whatever, how about:

I break for porter potties

 

Someone who knows how to how to do polls should do one with the top slogans so the community can decide a winner. just for kicks.
