Anyone in Chicago want to meet up on Friday?

Hi All!

Sorry I have been a bit absent lately from the boards.  I am glad to say that it's not illness related!  I've been working a ton, volunteering on various projects, and just started going to a brand new IBD supprt group in downtown Chicago.

But that's not why I'm writing......I and other IBD people, friends, and family are going to a happy hour on Friday May 2nd from 6:30 until 9:30 $25 will cover drinks (well drinks) and appetizers for the 3 hours.  It's at McGees, 950 W Webster in Chicago.

Anyway, we've had a cold winter and it's time to get out!  I hope people can make it-just look for me the redhead!

Hey Erica!!

I meant to email you about this, but of course totally forgot. I had a wedding to go to last Friday or else I would definitely would have been at the fundraiser/happy hour. Hope all is well with you and take care!

I'm sorry I missed it Erica!  I've been busy finishing up nursing school and really didn't even remember!  Good news is I'm done for now and I'm just waiting on graduation.  Maybe we can have some impromptu meet up sometime soon?

What kind of support group have you started here in Chicago?  I would like to meet some fellow UC'ers.

Hmmm....how to come up with a way for everyone to show their location on a map? Isnt there something like that on one of Google's features?
