To answer your question, my husband prefers slightly slouched to bending over. Interesting post!

Sara - when I read that article I thought of it more as a cause than a cure. Like I said on the CD board it helps explain some of the discrepency with the low incidence of IBD in Asia (even the 1st world countries) and other 3rd world countries. I heard that my local hospital allows people to squat for delivery if they prefer. They have a grasp bar and a harness or something like that... I found the labor section interesting in that article.

Hi Fitz - That's how I read it, too - more of a cause than a cure. I've been wondering if it would help decrease symptoms though and/or keep people in remission longer...?
