Pickles

Cucumbers give me gas but have found that the english cucumbers aren't nearly as badt. I can do pickle relish but haven't tried a pickle as a whole. I think i react to the seeds since english don't have any. I am a fan of try a new food and what a few days. It is a slow processes but works well.

I love pickles and eat them all the time. Cucumbers I don't like and have never eaten.

OMG I LIVE on dill pickles! It's my "go to" food when stressed or aggravated there's nothing like the satisfactory "crunch" you hear when you bite down hard into a cold dill pickle.

Bonus: they are about 5 calories per serving, 10 servings per bottle (normal size)so if I'm having a REALLY bad day and want to eat the whole jar I've just injected a whole whopping 50 calories and got to grind my teeth on something tangible instead of each other (o:

that being said I never have eaten a whole jar but one day when I went back for my 4th pickle my husband made a snide remark about not eating so much and I snapped that calorie fact back at him ... .. I think he laughed for the next 10 minutes.

I honestly don't eat cucumbers in raw state . . . it's premature for pickle stage in my book, rather wait till it's a pickle (o:

Check your labels, pickles processed different ways have different caloric values. Sweet and bread-n-butter varieties I'm sure have more than the vinegary dill varieties. The Garlic Deli Dill ones aren't usually cooked through so I'd avoid them if you have raw veggie issues. That's all I can think of for pickle advice other than if you like variety they have pickled beets too . . .. yumm! Can you tell I like sour treats LOL (o:

I like hamburger chips, dill spears, and midget gherkins! I am not happy looking at a life with no pickles, so I'll add them to my"to try" list and hop they're ok..

Pickles and cukes are fine in general...I do get gas from cucumbers if I've eaten too many, but English cukes are less problematic. I do peel them regardless.

Dill pickles and grilled cheese sandwich....OMG!!! awesome!

I only selfom have chips, but I do like dill pickle flavour.

Yeah saw the sodium that's why I don't ever eat the whole jar. I honestly don't think I'm physically capable of eating that many pickles LOL. That night I ate 4 I barely ate any dinner hehehehe Haven't had that many since.

I have a near unhealthy relationship with spear dill pickles. I can eat a whole jar easily. I don't think they bother me, but then again, I eat without caution. It's hard for me to tell what is a "bad" food unless I end up with terrible symptoms. I usually end up laying in bed crying in pain because I ate something I shouldn't have, or drank a Pepsi (my other weakness). I can't help it. I love food and Pepsi. Not to contradict myself, but I do try to avoid fiber and seeds, but even then I still can't resist pumpkin seeds. I'm horrible when it comes to choosing "good" foods.

The sunja's kimchi is another fermented concoction with onions, garlic, green pepper and other various veggies. I'm finding that most stores are starting to carry this brand now: tinyurl.com/mzl5lwd

A bit spicy for me, but always adds to the flavor of some of the foods. :)
