During this past week, I have been 'putting things together' in my case of 15 years of being ill, unable to take meds for my conditions due to severe reactions and need to find what the real cause of my problems are so I can rectify them as naturally as possible...
Lastnite my mind began to race with much of the info I gained online...I also just found out that my D and K levels are low, both will lead to inflammation which is the 'cause' of ALL of my conditions...Having then researched how to get more K in my diet, I came across SPINACH...
Vitamin K deficiencies symptoms of GI bleeds, nosebleeds, etc. really got my attention...
I then recalled the thread on here about eating Spinach and thought that the increase in K is likely the beneficial factor in helping IBD...
FOOD FOR THOUGHT and for good health...
Going to run this by new PCP today...He gave me a sample for Lialda recently and apparently didn't heed the warning in my chart which said 'severe adverse reaction to Asacol'...I need to set him straight, educate him to the facts that low vitamin levels are certainly something to look into before making a diagnosis and prescribing what could be a potentially dangerous drug for the patient...
May this year bring us REAL answers and not just more expert 'opinions' that keep us sick...
I am going with this lead and increasing these vitamins along with beneficial bacteria and lower fat (fat malabsorption is a likley problem for all of us)...These illnesses need to be looked at with more common sense to find the answers for each of us...
