Whe I got out of the hospital I was afraid to eat anything. My diet consisted of scrambled eggbeaters, lunch was a ham or turkey sandwich with swiss on white bread, cottage cheese, and tuna. NO COLOR!
I have since added farina, yogurt, puddings, romaine lettuce is once again invited to my sandwiches, canned pumpkin, butternut squash, any meat, pears, plums, nectarines, and peaches ,and watermelon and bananas.
Go slow and see if something gives a problem So far for me,it's been okay, but I beieve the key is moderation. Will I eat one buffalo wing? Sure! Will I have a dozen, Well, no I would not.
I also don't get silly and eat things like raw vegetables(although spinach is good raw...) onions or stringy
stuff or nuts or popcorn.
I just can'trule out entire food groups, and to me, eating is about truly enoying what you eat.
