Multi Vitamin Question

Hi everyone,

I would just like to ask you all if you take a Multi Vitamin?  I specifically would like to know of one to boost the immune system.

Hi and welcome to Healingwell :) I don't think we have a problem with revving up our immune systems but you can take a vitamin to maintain overal health. There is a vitamin specifically designed for IBD'ers and it's Forvia. This vitamin has more B12, Iron and Calcium then the normal vitamins. It's also easy on the gut. If you are interested you can buy these at www.forvia.com But if you don't want to order online, One a Day Active is a good one to try. I was on that for a long time but it wasn't until I went on Forvia that I felt much better overall.

Centrum A-Z multivitamins are also good, and they have a formula for people age 50 & over, Centrum Silver. I'd be wary of commercial brands that contain dye; read the labels before buying. / Old Hat (nearly 30 yrs with left-sided UC; currently on 3 Colazal daily for maintenance of remission)
