UC question

Hi guys. I still have my dull constant pain to the left of my belly button which gets sharp sometimes before or during a BM this is going on 2 months now.  Not sure if this is normal for UC however is it normal with UC to sometimes have D or very loose constant stools and other times to have more constipation or is that more IBS? Also my back hurts in the same area. I guess I will know what is wrong after the scope on Friday but cant help but worry.

My joint pain seems to be getting better. Wonder if I was flaring when I had the joint pain followed by D wks later? Well, that is IF I have UC

i have constant pain right in the same spot. it goes from dull and mild to sharp and excrutiating and everywhere in between.
so it is normal for me as i am in a flare at the moment.

also, i am taking endone (oxycontin = opiate) for the pain and it causes constipation too.
so normal for me is some days i have D and other days its more formed, and all of the time it feels like a poo is stuck in my colon on the lower left side and just aches and hurts.

i think the word normal in regards to poos and UC is a bit ironic.
