When I began the rowasa, I cut my asacol by 3 tabs a day, which was too fast. The rowasa never seemed to bring a lot of relief but if I can get back in control, I'll try it again.
The cort enema worked within two days, I'd say 50% improvement of symptoms (no blood, 5 "d" trips a day) but after 10 days now I'm just about back to where I was (a little frustrated). I'm going to stick with the cort enema for awhile though to see if I can avoid a regular pred therapy.
Ideally, if the asacol starts working again, I'm hoping for a maintenance rowasa regime.
