What Worked For Me...

Hello All,

I have had an amazing turnaround in just over a month using a "product" called MMS. In fact, you can even make your own. If you do a little bit of research on it, you can find out everything that you need. I have tried so many things (SCD, Vitamins, Sulfasalazine, etc.), but nothing has come even close to this stuff. MMS stands for Miracle Mineral Supplement. Yes, I bet most of you won't believe it, but at this point, what do you have to lose (those were my exact thoughts). You can buy some on ebay or other places. Also, as I said above you can even make your own if you wish.

I have kept an online log of just about everything that I have been consuming while on this stuff:

Please do give this stuff a try. I cannot tell you how great this stuff is. I was diagnosed with UC back around 1999 so, I do have an understanding of what most of you have or are going through. My worst flare up was what prompted me to buy this stuff.

I was kind of hoping it wouldn't come up as spam, advertising, etc. but what can you do.

I understand your point about it being sketchy. When you take a closer look though, there's not really much of a miracle behind it. Do a little bit of research on Chlorine Dioxide and you should see what it's all about. Basically MMS is CHLORINE DIOXIDE. I would put a link, but that may come up as spam too. Just do the research.

I hope this stuff helps more than just me... By no means is there any guarantee that anything will work on anybody, but I tried, and this stuff worked. If you do want the URL to my log, please contact me. It spans from about June 21, 2008 to the present (August 19, 2008).

WOW!!! I'm glad you brought that CDC site to my attention. That site has a wealth of information. It looks like a lot of us are already drinking it.

I went back and checked a few things on MMS. It's actually sodium chlorite (28% — 22.4% effective sodium chlorite), which is also mentioned on the CDC site. I'm assuming sodium chlorite / chlorine dioxide are along the same lines as each other, since the CDC site page has a heading of "Public Health Statement for Chlorine Dioxide and Chlorite".

CDC site states:
- "Because chlorine dioxide is very reactive, it is able to kill bacteria and microorganisms in water."

- "In communities that use chlorine dioxide to treat drinking water, chlorine dioxide and its by-product, chlorite ions, may be present at low levels in tap water."

- "More than 80% of all chlorite (present as sodium chlorite) is used to make chlorine dioxide to disinfect drinking water. Sodium chlorite is also used as a disinfectant to kill germs."

For me it almost backs up MMS (maybe a long stretch for some of you, but it's worth a shot).

Harpo - They are prosecutable if the product is food or a drug. It is unfortunate that "natural" supplements are not regulated in the U.S.
