done with flagyl...mucus back

HI all,

I just finished flagyl for the C-diff infection I had that presumably caused my recent flare-up.  Even though I just had a normal BM, I now have the mucus again...what do you think this means?

Mucous can be a normal thing. Keep an eye on it though and tell your doc if you see any changes. Best to call and pester them if you feel worried. I've called my doc's nurse several times and said "I know this is probably nothing, but I need someone to reassure me". The nurse is great and will check things out and call me back.

Have you tried any probiotics since you have been on antibiotics?
