Prior to my official dx, I'd have some symptoms during the fall months, blood in my stool, cramping, sometimes diarrhea, but never anything that caused me to think it wasn't just hemmies and too much beer/fast food. Then I was dxed in July 2006 with UC. Asacol kept me in remission until July of this year, when I stopped taking it due to some delayed side-effects. I've been flaring since. I'm not sure if it is stress, or allergies that does it for me. Fall isn't particularly stressful for me, but my allergies definitely kick in worse in the autumn.

I started noticing mucus in my stools in October of 2005, but did not actually have alarming symptoms until late Feb 06. I ended up being diagnosed in early March 06. Shortly after my initial flare up, before I actually had an official dx, I also had an episode of pancreatitis. Just curious if anyone else had this experience? This of course was not med related b/c it happened about
a week after I started bleeding and before I had even gotten in to see the GI doc!!!

Diagnosed finally in November 2007 but symptoms began in early September. Maybe stress of school year beginning?

I was diagnosed in Feb 08 but the flare started the middle of January. My last flare that went undiagnosed started in mid December of 02.

I know it was right at the end of August because it was right around when classes started.
