Horrendous pain nearly a week after colonoscopy

I had a colonoscopy last monday (24th), had bowel movements a handful of times since which were fine. Then on Friday night (28th) I started getting horrendous stomach cramp and what I can only describe as a weird, painful "bubbling" sensation in the upper right side of my abdomin. It's now Sunday, still getting intermittent cramping and the bubbling sensation comes and goes every few mins. I have had a very painful and bloody bowel movement tonight too. Has anyone else had a similar problem so many days after a c-scope? Should I be worried about this?

I'm not currently on meds. The doc said c-scope looked fairly normal but he took 4 biopsies to make sure as when I had it done I hadn't had any bleeding for 10 days. I'm gettin the results any time in the next 7 days. The pain was both rectally and on the right side. The bm was fairly mushy and didn't have any trouble passing the stool so don't think its a fissure.

Before I had my colonoscopy I had bleeding and mucus every day for 2 months, stomach cramp, loss of appeteite. I was having bm's 3 or 4 times a day which for me is unusual because I have only ever gone a maximum of twice a week my whole life. I had some blood tests done showing I am anemic and another result shows your general wellbeing (was electrolyte levels i think) - good health is 12 , (anything over is bad) and mine was 48! The doctors said they thought I had colitis so arranged a colonoscopy.
For nearly 2 weeks before the colonoscopy the bleeding stopped so I assumed this was the end of the "flare up".
As my colon appeared normal during the colonoscopy (perhaps due to not having bleeding etc for 2 weeks beforehand) they only needed to take 4 biopsies just to make sure there wasn't any previous inflammation etc. They took 2 biopsies from the Proximal Sigmoid and another 2 from the Rectum. I should get the results from this by next Monday.
Since I had the colonoscopy last week I have had severe stomach cramps and right side pain as above so I went to the doctor this morning who listened to my stomach etc. She said my colon has gone into spasm and has given me medication called colofac which I have to take 3 times a day for a month. If they don't help or the pain gets worse she told me to go directly to hospital.
Still in alot of pain at the moment so will see how it goes but I can see a hospital trip being in order to be honest. Sooner the doctors get to the bottom of this the better! :(

Yeah I'm in the uk.

Sorry I should have said, the bleeding has started again-started again on sunday, having bm's 5 times a day at the moment and there is ALOT of blood and pain in my side whenever I have a bm. I'm having to run to the bathroom which I never got during my first flare up so I'm worried it's getting worse. As for diet I'm hardly eating at the moment as I have zero appeteite and the pain makes me feel sick. I have avoided food that I know upsets me e.g. anything with egg in it. I dread to think how bad it would be if I was eating normally :(

The doctor told me if I get pain so bad I need to see someone again to go straight to hospital this time so they can keep me in and investigate further :/

Well I haven't had my colonoscopy results yet confirming what is wrong with me so I think until they know 100% it's colitis they are a bit reluctant to give me too many pills etc. I'm hoping I get the results by Friday because I'm finding this whole illness a real strain to be honest. I'm from Oxford but recently moved to Coventry.
