For sure it's a scary situation, especially for people facing the loss of health insurance when they desperately need it. I'm worried about
getting close to retirement & not being able to afford my med. In September I went on generic Colazal (Balsalazide by Watson) due to my insurance requirements, but I need to switch back to the original because the generic allows D to plague me again. Last week I talked it over with my gastro, who commented that many other patients are complaining about
problems with the generic. I suspect that the pharma purposely left out one of the main ingredients because Watson has some connection with Salix, which is likely trying to protect their original compound from competition. Somehow we have to keep our sanity through all these upheavals in the marketplace! I hope that the auto industry finds some solutions early next year, if not sooner. Just to cheer you, my local bank got taken over by a biggie & when I called the usual 800 number to inquire about
a checking account procedure, I got connected to a woman in the Phillippines! / Old Hat (nearly 30 yrs with left-sided UC ... [etc.])
