Hello,
I was on Asacol for about
a year and I was in remission and I had a check-up appointment and my G.I. doc told me about
Lialda. I was super excited to try it because I was taking like 2 Asacol pills three times a day and if I'd get out of routine and miss a dosage, I'd worry about
if I took it in enough time to not feel bad. Lialda is so convenient! You take it in the morning with breakfast and your set for 24 hours. It is more expensive than Asacol but they have this program right now where you dont pay more than 25 dollars for your prescript
ion. Its been great to me.. When I flared up my second time after being on Lialda for quite some time, while in the hospital they gave me Asacol, not sure why but it didnt make a difference. I dont know about
anyone else but fewer pills are always better to me! I hope I helped!
