Does anyone have any experience with a multi-vitamin called Forvia. It's supposively for people with IBD.

Yep and I absolutly LOVE it! I have always taken multi-vitamins so when I switched to Forvia about 2-3 years ago, I felt a huge difference. I felt overall better.

Where are these vitamins purchased? Walmart, grocery store? What price range are they?

I am interested. How are they different from regular multivitamins? My GI has me on Centrum Silver (eventhough I'm 37)

Forvia is specially formulated for IBD patients. It is supposed to be easier on the guts than other formulations.

Other multivitamins always made me nauseated. This one doesn't.

If you have another one that works for you, keep using it. I never believed in a daily vitamin until I got sick. Now I know my body can use all the help it can get.

Centrum Silver does not contain iron. It's basically for people over 50-- who generally have lower iron replacement needs, especially postmenopausal women. Forvia is designed to supplement the vitamins/minerals that IBDers are most likely to be deficient in. / Old Hat (nearly 30 yrs with left-sided UC ... [etc.])

I feel stupid to say it, but I did not know that Centrum Silver has no iron! My GI put my on in right after I was diagnosed. I was borderline anemic at one time and did take iron, but after a few months I was OK and he didn't mention my iron levels again. I feel great, but I will definately check in with my GI again! Thanks for the heads up!!!
