Lialda (or Mesalamine) and Hair Loss?

I read that it only happens to less than 1% of people taking it but I've been losing my hair for almost 3 months and I'm losing A LOT! Every morning my sink, toilet, and brush fill up and then all day if I so much as touch my hair I get a handful. I've been on Lialda since June and this is the only side effect, but as a girl it's a pretty hard one to deal with.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Lucky for me then that I started going bald around 18. And finally gave up and started shaving my head about 3 years ago. I get up every other morning and shave my head with a razor. LOL. Started this about 2 years before UC..

I am on Lialda too and YES I lose a lot of hair on it! The other day my husband and I were painting our bedroom and he said "You wouldn't believe how much of your hair I found on the floor behind the bed!" I guess it falls out while I sleep? That's GREAT!
