I've never been a coffee drinker, just couldn't aquire a taste for it. I did however start drinking energy drinks every day for about 3 years, sometimes twice a day if I was going out at night because I'd be crashing by then. Sometimes they bothered my stomach but for the most part it was okay. Then I started noticing that I was getting wicked migraines on the weekends or other days when I skipped my daily dose. At first I didn't know what it was from but my doctor asked what I did different on the weekend that I didn't do during the week...
Sooo I started weaning myself off of them but it was tough. I don't drink them at all anymore, and the thing that helped was I was soo sick with this flare that I could drink two sips of one and have to run to the bathroom. Finishing a whole one was impossible. So I started drinking like half of one every few days, and now I haven't had a migraine in probably two months. Hooray!
