My sister has been having some funky GI symptoms lately for which she hasn't seen a doctor yet. I always tease her that the reason she hasn't seen a doc yet is because she's afraid of the Bendover Table.
Beside for this board, my sister is the only one I tell this stuff too.
From reading the responses, I am guessing that regular GI's don't usually have this table in thier office and that it is mainly found in the offices of colo-rectal surgeons.
On the flip side, when I really think about the wide-ranging delicate, private, and sometimes gross subject matter of our GI tracts, I wonder, truly wonder, how on earth, anyone would to dedicate their professional life to the study of others backsides and guts.
