Anyone have ADD?

I self diagnose myself with ADHD. I am extremely active and have in inordinate amount of energy. Also, I sometimes have a difficult time concentrating but I've never heard a link between UC and ADD.

ADD? I do, did I turn the water off out back? Here Kitty Kitty Kitty! Oh what a beautiful sunset! Did I defrost the steaks for dinner? Crap I forgot to pick up the dry cleaning :(

I have ADD, was thrown on pills for most of my childhood and well into early adulthood. I still have issues with my father over some of this and I can't tell you how much grief I've caused for myself in various situations through out my life. Strattera (the drug company) tries to use that as part of their marketing ploy, digestive issues from stress of ADD. That drug was great, it caused me erectile disfunction and liver problems while I used it. Bitter? Just a tad!

There is definately a connection, make no mistake about it. But how you deal with these problems is a completely different matter. I say avoid pharmies at all costs if possible and keep your head in check, with whatever you need to do.
