I mix oatmeal or cereal, frozen or fresh blueberries, probiotics (sometimes a packet of VSL3 only if its a cold cereal), and 2 spoonfuls of psyllium seeds with ample milk to absorb the psyllium. I prefer eating psyllium as small sesame seeds rather than powdered. It works like a wonder drug for me. (Hope I did not just jinx myself).
about
3-4 times a week because I really do prefer eating eggs for breakfast. But whenever the big D rears its ugly head I mix this concoction once or twice a day and the D disappears. Probably will not work during a full blown flare.
I found an article a few weeks back on this forum showing that probiotics and blueberries are a very effective synergistic combo for IBD.
