sweetie - my son works for Abbott Labs as a scientist - they make Humira. What can you tell me about your experience? My treatment may come to trying it or other immune suppressant! Thanks.

For me... Humira is a life saver. If I didn't have that option I would've had surgery just after diagnosed. I failed Remicade due to a severe allergic reaction. I was in between remission when I started Humira. So, once I started it, it kept me where I needed to be, then a few months later I went into full remission. My GI had me on 2 shots every 2 weeks, due to my major flare. He wanted to make sure I was fine. I just went down to 1 shot every 2 weeks, and have been off of Imuran for about
a month and a half. I'm just totally thankful for this drug. The shots take sometime getting used to, but it's totally worth it.
