Hoping to learn a lot here from others who suffer from UC.  Anyone here have 'gurgling' sounding symptoms in the gut?  Sort of like a clogged sink that's slowly draining (best way to describe...).  I assume it's food/liquid quickly digesting and working its way down the colon.  Seems to happen same time every day - like end of the day/evening.

I had that. May be the extra water that the colon doesn't absorb when inflamed.

That's about the only symptom I haven't had.

Oh yes. All day Tuesday, in fact. It means I better stay close to a bathroom.
I'm starting to flare again (change in season?) so I've hit it hard with prednisone, and with immodium to get through a business trip and demands at work.

I have that al the time...sometimes it's gas and other times it's liquid. I find a bathroom quickly because they both sound and feel the same.

I'm a 41 y/o male with UC symptoms since 1992, not actually diagnosed until approx 5 years ago.

Currently on Remicade every 8 weeks, I love it!! My GI doesn't quite get it, my symptoms have drastically improved, I guess he wants me to be symptom free, but he won't change the frequency because he's afraid of the side effects.

I've tried most of the other meds: Lialda, Pentasa, Dipentum, Asacol, Colazol and Prednisone. I can only tolerate the Prednisone and have developed a Sulfa Allergy while taking some of the other meds.

Mine does that to even worse after i have eaten hubby says it sounds like noonoo out of the telly tubbies lol
