How long do we need to keep in Canasa during day?

From today i have doubled my Canasa - started taking in the morning as well. At night it was never a problem keeping it inside but today when i used it in morning i could not hold it longer than 6 hours. And it came out with little blood :-( I had to go twice to empty it out and feel swollen :-(
Do we have to keep it in whole day?

From what I know, keeping it in for 6 hours is still very good. When I used canasa it was much easier to keep it in at night too, and I could not do more than 2-4 hours during the day. I think that's probably because when you're sleeping there's less pressure on the colon compared with walking around and doing things during the day, which can put more pressure on the colon.

Wow....6 hours is awesome!!! I'm impressed! Keep us posted as to how you're doing.

For the swollen part (is it the anus?), use hydrocortisone cream right after you use the suppository and then after you're finished the bms from emptying them.  

I can relate this past week from external hemmies....helped a lot.
