puts a smile on your face

Hi, I was sitting here today and yesterday and more than usually down in the dumps.  Probably a combination of things being on 6MP maybe that is a side effect, or just dealing with UC on a day to day basis (I'm sure that can do it for a lot of us) and then I got to thinking what is something (even one thing) that mostly always uplifts me and can put a smile on my face and for me it's my dogs.  So I thought what is something that puts a smile on your face because what puts one on yours may also put it on someone else's even if it is for a few seconds or a minute (or maybe the rest of the day).  So my word is DOGS, what is yours that without a doubt puts a smile on your face.  We can all use a smile right?...Molly  Oh yeah, one more thing

LOL Well, I have many things that put a smile on my face. My kids, my husband, my animals. BUT one thing that always makes me laugh out loud just by remembering is one time my husband was chasing me up the stairs. We were picking on each other and just goofing around. I started running up the stairs and my husband is coming after me and runs smack dab into the support pole in the basement. The walls are white and the pole was painted white so he didn't see it. Needless to say, I was laughing so hard I couldn't even make it up the steps. Whenever I am in a funk, I like to think of this because even though it happened about 4 years ago, it still makes me laugh. :)

My ferrets... when they're being good, lol. Just thinking about the silly things they have done makes me smile.

My husband when he's in a happy and goofy mood.

My cat almost everyy moment because she's sooooo interactive and pretty much wants what she wants and talks about it constantly. Ignoring her doesn't help so I have to shut myself into a room to get away from her nagging..lol!
She's worse when my husband is sleeping from his night shift...once he gets up, she goes to sleep..sigh. Keeps her busy, however....better than non-interactive.

As I was reading through these I was thinking of so many times laughing till your bladder gives out (LOL) and it came to mind when I was working for the Orthopaedic surgeon at the time. I was talking one on one with a patient at the window as I was talking I kept feeling a poke in my throat area and I could feel that there was something there poking me so I continued to push whatever it was down and this continued for quite a few minutes until I couldn't stand it. I began to pull at the object (mind you the person is still in front of me talking) the object kept pulling out until I realized it was the wire from the underwire bra I stood there and pulled the entire thing out I wanted to bust out laughing and couldn't believe they didn't bust out but think they were probably mortified by it, especially when I put it on my head as a headband and no one skipped a beat in the conversation, it was hysterical and makes me laugh all over again thinking about it.

But yes, he is adorable and makes me smile all of the time! He's five and a half months and is just perfect! :)

I have McAfee and have had no issues with it. Fruitgirl, your son is truly adorable!
