Alright, first question...
Does colitis affect our abilities to retain water in our large intestine?
I feel like I pee a lot, and that I'm also dehydrated no matter how much water I drink. My logic is that the colitis destroys the villi or some water retention aspect of the colon. When I lift weights at the gym, I go through about six 20ml bottles of water. If I don't, my lips become extremely chapped, dry skin, etc.
Any thoughts?
