Hi All,

I have bad diarreah two weeks ago, I got some fissures, but they seemed to be better, I'm not bleedling like I lost my arm. I have the worst, burning anus, it's just right on the inside nothing on the outside. It seems no to be spreading to the vajay vajay, I don't know why. I've tried everything, the only thing that brings relief is tylenol. I'm seriously in pain, I cry. I can barely drive my car. If I lay down I'm ok, but i work. Is it pressure when I sit and stand? I've had this before and its eventually goes away but what the heck is it? I'm doing A & D oinment, vitamin E, nothing gets to it except tylenol. I did a canasa suppositories, holy heck, that made it worse!

Any suggestions? Thanks

Try Rowasa! Are you on other meds?

no they all make me sick! I will try the canasa again.

My GYN gave me some hydrocortisone creme for that area and it works great - there is a "numbing" effect first and then healing.  What I have is prescription.  Hope it feels better very soon.  All the rectal meds cause me grief that way.  Right now not on any!

For me, when i tried canasa first time it caused increased burning more for 3-4 days- but i kept using it and after few days it started healing ... though i had another flare yesterday and the first thing with me is the burning down there :-( canasa or no canasa!!

If it's spreading in that area, it could be yeast, like the bright red shiny diaper rash babies sometimes get. You may need to call your doctor and get something for it.

You should be getting it checked out especially if it's something you've never experianced before, always report new symptoms to your doctor and have them checked out.

I've experienced it before and it just take time for it to go away, but it's complete hell in the interim. Besides, my GI you just can't even seen her on a last minutes notice, that's the only complaint I have about her office. It's a 2 month out no matter what! I had this fissure problem before, crying and telling i'm bleeding like my arm was ripped off and still I was on a waiting list. I would switch to a new doctor, but they ALL want to do a scope first and I'm not going through that again, I've had two in 3 years years.

Buy a Canesten treatment for a few days...not only one. It's an ovule that's inserted into the vagina and not wet..There is also a cream that comes with it. Apply it to the vulva and the anus.

I wouldn't even wait for an appointment.

Are you washing after a bm? You must do so if you have a handshower..that's best. Don't use soap on the vulva for a few days....

I have diflucan at home, this is a pill form for yeast, take that is that what your saying? I didn't understand Canesten treatment

I haven't had bread in ages, today 1/2 a sub my butt goes from burning to itching like crazy and at lunch I used hydrocortisone, took a Advil (a no, no, but I needed relief fast) and now on A & D ointment.

I also have the same problem quite often. Hemmoroidal creams don't help. Soaking in warm water helps but once you are out of the tub the burning irritation continues.
