colonoscopy on wednesday, and have moviprep as my prep...never used this onee before...has anyone?

is it better than the pills or the jug of nastiness??

i was told that gi's arent using the pills anymore cause they are finding horrible side effects from them. they were very easy to deal with...i am not looking forward to this new stuff.

Well, according to their website it's 86% of people thought that it was better tasting than PEG and other types. It is the same thing as PEG..the only difference is you drink 2L instead of 4L.

I doubt it will taste good...it's probably tolerable. *ANYTHING* is better than Fleet-Phospho-soda. I can't stomach any type of honey-lemon flavour because of that stuff. There are no words to describe its taste....close to vomit..lol.

Let us know what the Moviprep is like.

Read my post about dreading the prep! I absolutely hate any of the drinks they make you take for the prep. I do have to say honestly though that it was a lot better then the Phososoda that I have used in the past. I mixed mine with lemon-lime gatorade and ice cubes, plugged my nose and sucked it thru a straw. It went thru me rather quick and the first liter cleaned me out sufficiently that I didn't even have to do the second liter. Good luck on your scope!

ok so i did the prep put it in lemon-lime gateraide, made sure it was reallllllly cold....closed my nose and gulped it down. it did taste better than the older stuff i didnt gag its still ichy and it didnt burn as much coming out. i did the first dose and i'm already running clear so i think im good to go, i dont wanna be up all night when im already clear. i'll let everyone know what happens tomorrow....god i cant wait to eat everything in sight tomorrow!

LOL That is how I felt this morning after the scope. But remember, take it easy on the intake. You may still have some residual D the morning after. Good luck :)

the colonoscopy i think has sent me into a flare...i'm hoping its still the prep thats giving mee such urgency and mucous...but good lord i havent felt this bad in a LONG TIME!!!

the test showed that i had some inflamation...my UC always gets weird around xmas time and easter...when it gets really cold out and when it starts to get warmer...i know weird...but i was just having some loose BM...now i have everything...mucous, tiny blood chunks, gas like you would believe urgency, d.....ugh
