I don't know why but it just doesn't sound right to me. Maybe it needs punctuation or to be worded differently. I see it everyday so I think i got it memorized.lol Oh well here it is.

Please let this serve as notice that the commodes are water saver commodes and do not have enough water pressure to flush completely one or two times.

I'd say it's overly formal for the situation.  Something simpler should suffice:  Please be advised that the toilet may require two or more flushes to clear the bowl.

Or, if the sign is in response to a problem:  Please flush as often as necessary to clear the bowl.

it cracks me up that water saver commodes have to be flushed more than once at least to get stuff down, so really they are using more water

It really depends on the toilet. When I replaced my toilet, I spent a lot of time researching my options in order to avoid this situation. For, like, $100 I bought a toilet that has never, never not cleared the bowl on the first flush, and it has never clogged.

Thanks for the replies guys. It's just a weird statement to me and I see it way to often with my UC.lol I like seconder's statemens so much better. And i've never had to flush more than once anyway...
One time in one toilet like half of the paper was torn off and missing and it never occured to me that someone must have been in there and ran out of TP. haha.

I found that when toilets don't lock they usually want to be open and it's too hard to try and do your thing with one hand holding the door so i like to jam a little piece of TP between the door and the wall just enough to make it stay shut.
