Many, many, many women have been on 5ASA meds (oral and rectal) throughout pregnancy and the babies have been fine. I'd strongly recommend you consider using both during pregnancy to prevent a flare from occuring...that's the worst thing to have happen during pregnancy and has a greater chance for causing problems for both you and the baby than the 5ASA meds. I ditto quincy's suggestion to do a lot of research on all of the supplements and make sure none of them are potentially harmful. Give your OB a list of them as well.
My first flare started about 4 weeks after I had my son, who is almost 10 months. As you can see in my sig, it took until May for me to be in remission. Of course, I wasn't diagnosed until January, but it still took me a long, long time to get in remission. I'm still not sure how my husband and I made it through those few months when I was so, so, so sick and had a newborn to take care of. So you really, really, really want to do everything you can to prevent a flare after delivery, too.
