To be honest I'm not sure they wil find anything, especially as I will be well into the steroids by the time it's done, so I imagine any inflammation should be lessened and therefore more tricky to spot.
That said the surgeon said that the fistula he
opened up did not look like it was a Crohns type fistula and that my bottom does not look like a Crohns bottom. I had to take his word for that, I certainly wasn't going to ask to see proof!
They keep telling my I'm not a textbook ulcerative proctitis or Crohns case, the dietician reiterated that again this afternoon.
Whatever it ends up being I'm happy to say that I feel like I'm being well looked after and it's just how my chuffing luck goes that I wouldn't be a straight forward case. (I've always been difficult!)
