can you flare without bleeding

Is it possible to have a flare up without the bleeding just urgency and lots of trips to loo

Yes, it's possible. I rarely had blood.

For sure...remember that inflammation is in progression. If you have rectal meds, start them.

It sure is...I hardly ever have very much blood...mucous is more of a problem for me.

Yes, I second that. Every other flare I have is without bleeding. Actually it is more like having a stomach bug (without throwing up) for a few weeks.

I flared for over a year without blood. I even had my poop checked and my GI didn't see any microscopic blood.
