I got it too- my blood sugar was crazy for a few months! My PCP had me check my blood a couple times a day, fasting & non-fasting, & keep a log of the readings. Then we'd look it over when I saw him- I was seeing him about
every 3 months at this time. We discussed the possibility of going on insulin, if things got out of hand, but luckily they didn't. The range was usually from anywhere in the 60's up to the mid-high 200's. Once I was off pred the sugars went back to normal & I've not had a problem since. Although he did say that once you develop drug-induced diabetes, you're more prone to developing Type 2 diabetes later in life. Also- FYI- Type 2 diabetes & drug-induced diabetes are 2 totally separate things.
