Never had a flare up until today. (5 years).Don't like it. Everything I eat is bloating my belly.

I drink alcohol at night and it never bothers me. I drink 2 cups of milk a day, and I eat cheese everyday. Never a problem.

Bleed everyday in the morning. Take 9 Pentasa a day. Take an enema at night to control bleeding.

My mom has Chron's and my dad had colon cancer. I guess if I had to get of the diseases I would take the IBD.
My three year colonoscopy's are fine (no polyps) and supposedly my larger intestine is slightly damaged at the end.
Then why so many problems. I guess it could be worse.
Do you know of anything that makes it better.
They say smoking makes it better.
Is that true.
