Thanks Carol. This October 20 it will be the first anniversary since having my colon removed and I am feeling pretty good.

Joy, My wife is like you and I am like your boyfriend, whether it is turkey or chicken. When we go to a restaurant we each take the good stuff from each other.

My brother in law married a Canadian, so he gets 2 thanksgivings. His wife gives him an American thanksgiving in November along with the Canadian Thanksgiving today.

Hope it was good, I make duck for Thanksgiving. Sometimes my birthday is right on it, which is sweet, 'cause it's like the feast is just for me, and there's cake involved.

Same with one of my sisters Elephantpipe, her birthday is Oct 9th and it sometimes falls right on Thanksgiving day.
