Hi, I am currently flaring and last night I ran a fever, chilling, aching. Anyone run fever when flaring? I don't really have any other symptoms for the fever. Today I'm really worn out and feeling achy.

Yep..I am one of those that runs a fever..especially in the afternoon and late evening.  It is horrible because I so horrible and then the next day i am exhausted.

It's a possible symptom. I don't run them while flaring, usually, but last flare I got a fever a few days in and I don't know whether it was UC or the flu. I also get random episodes of fever, headache and exhaustion lasting usually less than 12 hours.

I had a fever just the other day and then my UC started getting bad again.  I also had it the first time I flared.  Also have the achyness and exhaustion.  So not fun with a brand new baby.  I feel for ya!!!

Are you sure it's UC-related? Could be influenza - fever, body aches, chills??. It's really going around right now.

No I am not really sure. I don't have any other symptoms. I ran a fever awhile back feeling the same way. Thought if it was the flu I'd have sore throat, sinus mess, more flu-like symptoms. Just wondering if others experienced this.

I often run fevers when I am flaring...that is usually the first sign for me then I get cramping and then D with blood and mucous.
