PopChips!

This isn't against the rules, is it mods?

I'll have to pick some up next time I am at target.

They are literally 'popped chips!' Brilliant if you ask me. The potatoes are not fried or baked...they get them so hot...they pop! Or something like that...lol

They come in several different flavors but I couldn't find them in stores around me so I bought the variety pack online.

Oh they are! Look for them in the health food sections of your grocer. I think Costco had them at one time in huge bags...that's how we got hooked on them. I might have to start ordering them online since where ever we go seems to be out of the barbecue. We got the last two bags when we were shopping last week.

Yes, I agree! PopChips are yummy! The vendor provided a whole bunch of them for a CCFA walk I did this year and that's how I first heard of them. Now they also sell them in my work vending machine...hmm, maybe I should go right now and get some! :)

Ok! You guys talked me into it :) Next time I'm at the larger grocery store I will try to find them in the health food section.

Hmmmmmm.. wonder if I can find them here in Canada?

I just had an email back from the Pop Chips rep and they said here is where to find them in Canada:

If you live in Texas, they sell them at Whole Foods, Central Market, Sprouts and Target.... My husband loves them. He says the fact that they aren't fried makes it ok to eat them with a tub of sour cream and onion soup mix... :))

According to the following article popchips just recently came to Canada and is exclusive to Shoppers Drug Mart (Pharmaprix in Quebec). The article is dated Aug 25, 2009.
