Ha, yes they are my favorite; my husband just came back from the store and the barbecue were all sold out. :-(

Am I gathering that these are fairly safe to eat for people with UC then, if everyone is raving about them? I miss chips!!

I tolerate them very well -- they are not fried and don't have any additives and the flavor is soo good!

Okay, time for an update on this all-important topic. I finally got around to stopping at Shoppers Drugmart and picked up a bag. I got the Barbeque flavour. And I have to say.... people's enthusiasm for these things was not misplaced! They are mighty delicious! I meant to just try a couple but scarfed down the whole bag.

However --- Holy expensive, Batman! I don't think I'll be making a habit of buying them. Good thing, I suppose.

I think like, Poore Brothers? does or used to make steak and onion flavored chips. I don't normally like flavors but OMGGGG. Prolly aren't good for UC... but man are they good, and I can't find them. How much are the popchips?

ha ha!  The good ole pop chips are back! 

If it helps anyone, I got mine online and they were having a special so they weren't as expensive that way. I can't find them in the stores here where I am.

If there was no special though...they'd be expensive!  And I don't know if there's always a special online or if I just lucked out.

And the BBQ is my fave flavor!

Funny! We tried to order the snack packs of Popchips for all of our friends for the holidays, but they are not shipping until after Christmas now....they are THAT popular! I don't think they expected the response they got! Plus, they were giving them out as gifts to charities so I hope they went there first. ;-) Saposs; you can find them at Raley's, Safeway, Bel-Air, Whole Foods (I know you live in my area!) The barbecue are my husband's absolute favorite. I love the sour cream and regular too. Yummmmmmmm!

Okay, your enthusiasm just prompted an impulse purchase! opened another window, logged onto Amazon, bought the variety pack and now I'm back here........love the internet!  One-stop shopping for IBD support and food shopping!

Bwahaha, looks like I prompted another round of PopChip purchases.

ElephantPipe, where I bought them they cost $2.99 for an 85g bag. With tax, I was forking over $3.14 for a very small bag. Mind you, Shoppers Drugmart is not known for low prices, but they apparently are the only place to get them in Canada. I guess I could look for them online if I really wanted but then you have to pay shipping. I'm not much of an online shopper.

I got mine at Target and they remind me of Muncho's. Salt and vinegar were my favorite :)

thanks Lonie, yes we are still in Folsom and love it here :-) Last night i told my husband about Popchips & he is all excited to try them. We will also try Barbecue flavor :-)
