I don't know if this is my UC or not but when I move, things shift in my insides. I feel like throwing up. And a slight urge to poo just came upon me. I'm afraid I'm going to get one of those moments where you can't decide if you should poo in the toilet and puke on the floor or the other way around. I'm notorious for that; whenever I feel like puking, I also feel like pooing. I was trying to read Chinese out loud because I have an exam tomorrow but the low tones made me feel like throwing up. Bleh. Had to whine, thanks lol

Poo on the toilet and puke in a bag. I'm the same way, so I usually keep a garbage bag around if I feel naseus.

Ugh it ended up being D =/ and my stomach was like, sudsing... I came back in my room and feel like throwing up again. I'd rather feel urgency with my poo than feel like puking, it sucks!

Luckily I've never had nausea issues while flaring but I can imagine it. I'm sorry you are feeling so punky and I hope this feeling doesn't continue for your sake.

Anyone who does NOT have nausea with UC is VERY lucky.  I have it every day even when I feel really good like lately.  I keep the pepto bismal handy and take it when really bad.  Always happens early morning and gets better when I eat!

omg! i have nausea evertime i go to the toilet. i have tons and tons of plastic grocery bags in every bathroom next to toilet.
90% of the time, i will puke at the same time.

yesterday i went out for 20 minutes to the grocery store... had to run to the toilet.. thank god the separate handicapped toilet was available.
went in there, did my thing and then had to grab the rubbish bin and put it in front of me while sitting on the toilet and proceeded to puke for 10 minutes.
there went lunch!

its so hard to eat and keep in food for the baby and myself when im constantly puking it all up.
tough times!

Oh, that sucks, is the nausea from being pregnant or UC? Or are you a lucky one getting it from both? lol

Can I just say that one would probably only ever say "I hope it's a tummy bug" to someone with IBD. It just makes me giggle.

You are as unusual as I am - I think!  I have been waking up with nausea for years - almost every day - early and sometimes worse than other times.  I used to vomit sometimes before I had my gallbladder removed.  Now, I just hate it!  I never feel nauseated with BM's however!

I'm so sorry to hear. I also hope you feel better soon. I've had some nausea with this flare, but fortunately not enough to push me into the puking range.

kops2da-Really? I've never had nausea with my UC, really, just lack of appetite. On the other hand, EVERY time I have to vomit for any reason it feels like I'm gonna poo, since I think before high school.

Thanks, I do so far. I think it was just one of those freak things. I had some sharp pains in my right side (well, in the colon area still). Now I have some coughs and sometimes sharp chest pains, like it's stretched tight so I can't yawn. Maybe I'm just comin' down with something.

sounds like me.. ugh luckily my bathtub is next to the toilet.. so i can do both haha
