Happy Cat, she said her insurance is now covering the full cost of her medication, she had to put out the initial $1600 to meet her deductible. I don't think you can even get on a PA program if you're insured, you may be able to get some help with copays but I doubt you can get free medication. The programs are mostly for the uninsured. It doesn't make sense to me that I pay nothing for my drugs but some insured people pay a few hundred $s. When I was insured, my Canasa was $150 for 30 and now I pay $2 for 30. It's silly...
I am so thankful that my UC issues didn't begin until my late 20s. I can't imagine how tough you have it in your early 20s, trying to start a life, career, relationships, and having this disease. Since I was diagnosed with UC, I have been suffering from exhaustion, I've also had a tough time dealing with stress and my joints hurt. I really feel for you but keep working toward your goals and you will achieve. My only regrets are that I didn't work harder when I felt better. Think positive and you will pull through
